Luck

Think that pen miss by Vards made the team very nervous, they know what usually happens when we miss our chances. Anyway I think we will take the three points.
 
Wasn't it the last match which saw a potential equaliser by us headed off the line in the closing minutes?
 
Question is will the luck last AND performance improve for the Preston game cos my nerves won’t survive another game like that.
 
I think WBA were unlucky, but not sure if that necessarily means we were 'lucky'.
A large part of football is defending well, and Hamza certainly did that to keep us in the game.
We took our chances, they didn't. Plenty of games recently where it's been the other way round, and I can't recall us saying QPR/Boro/Bristol/Millwall/Plymouth were lucky.

The above may or not make sense tbf - so if it was luck that helped us win, let's hope for more on Tuesday 🙏.

Btw - I'm hopeless at predicting results, but I did have a hunch about Hamza back on Friday 😉
