Lockdown - What Little Pleasure are you missing most

Life.

As a retired couple our lives revolved around going to the gym, seeing bands, seeing and making new friends and eating out once or twice a week.

We also enjoy a decent holiday in interesting places, usually a couple of times a year. All of that is gone, we are seriously pissed off.

I can now hit a clean iron, not very well, but all my clubs are like shiny new, wash mi balls in the sink regularly as well, missus moans and tells me to take the pots out first!!
Bum bum 😂

Me mates, Going to football especially euro away games, the boozer, naan straight out the oven, holidays, peaky blinders, Thursday night pool, Sunday night quiz, Rialto cafe, my specs not steaming up everytime I put on a mask.

gigs, and peace and quiet at home. I've been a home worker for about 5 years so having 2 or 3 extra people in the house during the daytime drives me batty.

I seriously miss the live music too. Even without doing anything special we would see bands in our local pubs about twice a week.

Home life is pretty much unchanged though obviously we do not get out as much, missing the gym mostly.

Here is something different, one of the few things that actually cheer me up in these awful times...

It is the sound of Mrs AFC chatting happily to our 15 yr old. Best when they are having a conversation in another room, the bedroom say, I can't really hear what they are talking about but they seem really happy and chatting along like nothing else matters.

Brilliant, I love it.

I know that's such a ballsache regarding the glasses isn't it. Takes me ages to see properly.
