On the back of the car park thread regarding John Cleese I went to see life of Brian at flix and the B film was about Italy and I thought it was serious as twato ere didnโ€™t recognise John Cleese voice until all of a sudden he narrated โ€œ and now back to Venice and more fuckin gondolas ๐Ÿ˜‚ if the death threatening people get the dvd out maybe thed relax and enjoy life , it isnโ€™t hate towards religion itโ€™s just fun ! Max wall and Eric idles conversation is legendary and micheal plains speech impediment was hilarious ps I have issues that can and are takin p out of regular and I absolutely love it . It can make you feel a part of the crowd and if itโ€™s done to make you feel embarrassed get thinking of a retort lads and lasses ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Reminds me that I saw Blazing saddles as the opening movie for Monty python and the holy grail in 75 in leicester. probably ABC but maybe Odeon in highfields.

Lads holiday in Spain and the first night we were walking around talking about LoB when I heard it being played in a British Bar, they were showing it every evening, we went every evening.
Every evening two blokes would come in 2 minutes before 'You're fucking knicked me old beauty', howl with laughter and leave.

First saw it in my Fresher Week .

I have seen it countless times since

My favourite film.
Unfortunately it's a film of its time, tried to get my lad to watch it and as RE no longer covers the bible in depth (or because we didn't sent him to Sunday School) lines like 'blessed are the Greek' went right over his head.

I've seen it more times than any other film, I was so hoping that he'd love it and when older we could throw lines at each other, unfortunately not to be.
I was blind but now I can seeeeeeee
Fuck off, they're my juniper berries.
And I should know I've followed a few.

Love the old geezer who wants to ease the burden of the cross carrier and ends up being nailed to it โ€ฆ.dosnt want to bother the centuries but just hear him saying โ€œ if he comes back can I go ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
