If i remember correctly the county cup youth finals were played at filbo after the final home game. i saw one after we got stuffed 5-0 by the baggies at home in 1977. i then joined an U13 team and played all season but when we got to the final i was dropped and never got to play on the hallowed turf.

I saw Status Quo at Scraptoft College. Must have been about 1968. I got rather inebriated and managed to knock Francis Rossis mike stand over----He wasnt pleased

In those days, most of us were there with school parties, forty five of us crammed onto a crappy coach. The school bus trip that took us all to Woodstock, now that was something else.I'd be suspicious if I was you with this crew, no doubt if you asked them they would claim to have been at the 100 Club to see The Pistols too.

Malcom Potter went to Taylor Street junior school ,I think he signed for City but never got further than the reserves.
Dave Haggerty lived on the Stocking Farm Estate
