Leicester city football fluke?

What they fail to see just like others is.... the BEST TEAM in the League that year, won it like as always, just because little old Leicester City beat the pants off the giants it rankles even after all these years.

10 fucking points better than any other team and we were Lucky .....Jesus H can't they live with it
I think they mean we had obviously everything going for us that year, it was almost written in the stars. No major injuries, consistency of selection, the other so called big clubs all in disarray. Wonderful season but it was definitely a one off.

It's bound to be a one off for one reason wealth that's why the elite still cry its a fluke
Let's face it if Spurs have done nothing would be said but the best team won it
I personally don't give a flying fuck for all the excuses it was team against team if you ain't good enough you don't win Arsenal we very good that year but we not consistant as we were

It was the equivalent of poking a hornets nest. All of a sudden the BCC's woke up and said WTF is this all about, we can't afford for this this to happen again!!
The really big spends started and that's why no one else outside the BCC's has had a sniff at the title since.
We won it cos we had the tactics, the players, and the will. They can't take that away from us..

I’ve just listened to it. I love the bit where they said that 5000/1 was in fact very mean from the bookies.
Whilst for not one second was it lucky, it was fortunate that, as said, the stars aligned. Everyone who is as close to winning the title with 7/8 games left needs to be able to get ‘dirty’ wins. We did that. But that’s what champions do. What was slightly fortunate I would suggest is Man City were changing managers, manure were just plain average, Chelsea sacked Mourinho for reverting to type mid season and literally wrote the rest of the season off, Arsenal were full of their own crap and Wenger fortunately forgot to tell them to get their heads out of the arses and Spuds were, well just Spuds, a bunch of glorified non entity dreamers.
I couldn’t care a jot but I do know that there’s not a chance of anyone even getting CL compared to where we came from.

I watched the 2015-16 highlights DVD this afternoon. Good job there was no VAR. Several of our goals would have been chalked off for offside.

I also watched that last Sunday for the first time since 2016 - bloody marvelous it was . Our rivals would've had goals chalked off too with VAR.

Absolutely. Not sure I could have coped with the 5 minute delay every time we scored though. Christ we were good.

I honestly believe there were moments where I thought I’d seriously have a heart attack. Each of those last 7/8 games were, for me anyway, total torture. The build up would slowly accelerate straight after the previous game. I know there are some who believe it would have been a lot better had we won the title on the Saturday vs Everton No bloody way. I wanted it over. On that Monday night for a full hour I was in ‘relief’ mode that the torture was over. Time then to celebrate with the 1000+ Italians who arrived for the weekend. Totally and utterly bonkers

I found the 5th place finishes in 19-20 and 20-21 way more stressful. After we blew the Bournemouth game and the Tottenham disaster the following year I had to go for a lie-down. I thought a couple of mid-table finishes would be good medicine after that. I was quite wrong about that.

We were the dirty dozen fighting far above our weight against the elite with an unfashionable board of directors who employed a failed likeable manager with an unfulfilled dream and desire to achieve the impossible, the rest is history but never was it a fluke, it was a coming together of like minded individuals who were determined to break the cycle of power and domination by the elite 🤨🤛👍😂
