League Cup - Stick or Twist?

So what's the opinion?

Clearly promotion is the aim this season, so do we flag both Cups early doors or use the Burton game to stretch a few more legs then exit next round just to keep down the number of games?

Or are Cup runs also going to be important?

Pretty poor pre-season work-outs - use this game as we would the last pre-season...A-Team for 70 mins to get more miles in the legs and work on the new system. Then the stiffs. Result less important.
