The Brentford goalkeeper is out injured for 4 to 5 months after his collision with Perez on Sunday.
Not that it effects us, but will definitely effect them.

I have not seen the incident, but the player is going to be out for s long time. If an oppo player had clattered our goalie we would not be pleased about it. Although I thought he was unlucky to be red carded when he got suspended a few weeks back Perez is starting to p*ss me off, starting with Partygate. The club has standards and AP seems to think these do not apply to him. We are not short of strikers at the moment so getting rid is something the club should be considering. The contrast with Youri's behaviour is staggering.

Funny how some injuries can be played through with in the match they occur, then result in a long long lay off.
Didn’t our ricardo do that against the villa (last game before covid)? & Maddison for that matter?

Albrighton played on after he was assaulted in Moscow too, didn’t he?

agree with flemington - there is no blame to perez here (in my opinion). a genuine 50/50, both players arrived at the same time at full speed, no studs up, just a full blooded clash of legs.

Overall he has disappointed me since his arrival but don't think he is in any way to blame in this instance. Had he bottled the challenge and left it we would all be having a go about lack of commitment.

I think that if Perez had pulled out of the challenge we would have questioned his bravery. The ligament damage may not have been caused by what looked like a fairly light collision and the keeper was able to play on so who knows when the injury happened?

Perez got to the ball first probably a 60/40 but didn't lift it over the keeper.
