That’s the thing with the second yellow though feckit, the ref didn’t miss it. He was 100% reaching in his pocket for the yellow card until he noticed that he’d already booked the player earlier.

It might just be me - but I still prefer this kind of conversation to any involving fucking VAR. Refs make mistakes...always have, always will. But it is still preferable in my book to grumble the poor decisions against us and smile when we have been favoured by bad decisions...than to have all the joy and emotion sucked out of the game, have every goal only half celebrated as one dreads the message on the board...VAR CHECKING....
