I agree with Soho. Those 3 losses could be pivotal in our season but it’s how we respond(ed). Whilst Sunderland aren’t that good it was a good win albeit should have been easier.
Positives from yesterday
1) We came from behind twice. WE gave them both goals plus the pen.
2). The pitch was awful. Yes same for both sides but they’re used to it. It was national league south standard. Disgraceful
3). I thought the ref was poor all round but he gave us nothing especially in the first 15 mins. Their pen was v soft. Much softer than Hamza on Tuesday. The decision not to book the guy again for a second yellow AFTER reaching for his card was inexcusable. He should be severely reprimanded for that. I don’t go for the bias but I felt he definitely sided with them more than a lot of teams this season.
4). We are v light in midfield right now. It showed yesterday.
All in all everyone is feeling the pressure. Even Ipswich, who seriously screwed up against Cardiff. Hope we’ll have a fully fit squad for BC and the run in. We need it. 21 more points should do it.
