I quite like this EFL league

No VAR, shit Refs, so you can actually celebrate a goal instead of looking at a screen for 10 minutes plus there’s no Billy big bollox teams lording it , if we don’t get the promotion through fair or foul means it’ll not be the end of the world for me for sure.
There is a reason why it's one of the most exciting leagues in the world.

Thank fuck it seems the penny has dropped for most on here. It's not many months ago that some of us were having to explain why we were calling this a shit league, whilst various fools were wanking themselves into a coma about us being top under the new messiah.....

The football is terrible, really disappointed with the quality (including us) but love the lack of VAR, egos and general BS razzamatazz

If we are in this league next season I'd doubt we will be in serious contention.
This is the one big opportunity to get promoted.
Fail it and it's all downhill imo

Can someone explain to me why it is a shit league because apart from Rotherham anyone can beat anyone. To me that's a competitive league. Much more competitive than premier league.

In that case, level 10 non-league shite will suit you.
Have you never considered the quality of football, and the standard of players? Flexibility of systems? Quality subs changing a game? I can't be arsed to repeat all the previous posts to some malfunctioning AI bot, but look yourself for the fuller explanations of why it's shit.
(Fully agree with the absence of var being marvellous, but that doesn't mean it's any less shit a league.

Seems like a few on here have forgotten their roots and feel entitled to belong in the top tier due to our achievements in the recent past, few teams of our stature can boast about the victories we’ve witnessed but if we have to wait for the next opportunity then we will with patience and pride.

No-one's displayed entitlement in this thread

Quality of football is always pretty good. Look at when Cardiff beat Ipswich with two goals in Injury time. Can't get more dramatic than that.

We know anyone can beat anyone in this league, it has always been so.

However the quality has dropped significantly since we were last here in 13-14.

I know the Premier League is over hyped but I’d rather that than years more of this.

Expressing an opinion about the quality of football in the Championship is not ‘entitlement’.

The quality of football in the this country doesn't meet the hype thrust upon it by the broadcasters and the media. That in itself isn't a problem, they've got a commerical interest.

My roots are lower league Scottish football, so I'm fairly well qualified to know what shite football is ;)

But I'd much rather watch us compete against players like Kevin de Bruyne and Declan Rice over the course of a season than... than, I hardly know any of the players in this league, because it hold zero interest to me bar the fact we find ourselves in it.

Seriously, this is what happens when AI goes bat-shit bonkers.
It's the future, I tell you.

I've made no effort to learn anything about our opposition this season, because we are only here for the season (I thought). Might have to revise that opinion if it all goes tits up!!
