This season. Last night, Saturday, Brighton ( LC) Brentford blah blah blah. That’s only in the last 4 matches. Every bloody game it seems. Even with Jonny there it seems to make no difference.
I thought Bruno explained it quite well last night. It’s as though we’ve too many players in the box and they’re all expecting the others to get it. Brentford had 5 in the box and we had 8 plus Kasper. Yet they scored. Last night Moses just walked in to the box and headed in totally unchallenged. We’re never going to move forward if we can’t defend set pieces or goals like last night. We can’t blame it all on not having Fou Fou available. Something is completely wrong with the mentality of the defence.

that is spot on.

i just watched the highlights as i couldn't understand how moses had got that much space. he runs past bertrand, soumare definitely senses the danger as he sprints to get along side moses....but as soon as moses enters the penalty area soumare just lets him go. it definitely looks like he was handing him on the central defenders, but they were leaving him for the midfielders. maybe if wilf was on he would have picked him up? but whatever, it was awful awful defending.

We also have to accommodate a goalkeeper who won't command his area, we do nothing to help ourselves there.

Zonal marking for me is like them cunts who drive slow in the middle lane of a motor way, l hate it basically.

Drop zonal marking, put a defender on the post and get some of them out of the box. Worth a try, fuck all changes unless we do.

I know we’ve said this before but just stick Vardy and Youri on the half way line a la Claudio. That’ll empty the box of at least 3 of the opposition’s defenders. Just try it for one game and see what happens. It can’t be worse than what’s going on right now.
 
No keeper wants a crowded box. KS won’t ever come for crosses so it’s 50/50 every time a ball is crossed into our box.

When there’s no defenders on the line then it moves to 70/30 in their favour
