how easy was that?

They were absolutely honking tonight, that defeat at Cardiff has completely derailed them.

I think we’ve played better in the season, but tonight they just folded. If we hadn’t killed the momentum making subs (that’s not a criticism) we’d have scored a couple more.

Really surprised how terrible they were.
I can only remember them having one shot, and that was an attempted lob from the half way line. They were rubbish. Really enjoyed that.

P.s. 9-2 on aggregate I think.

The difference between Saturday and tonight was day and night.
Saturday was one of those games where you realised the football gods were on our side. When the 2nd went in we just carried on whilst on Saturday we looked like at 2-1 we could still lose it. We were on it tonight from the first minute. First to the ball ( or the attackers legs in Faes’s case) every time. They just folded when the 3rd went in.
I actually enjoyed it for once from 75 mins rather than thinking I need to get the LRI on speed dial.

9-1. They don’t like us and the number 9 do they. Oh and the GOAT is of course no.9 too

The way we finished the match was exemplary.

There were a couple of key moments:

- In the 1st half, when Fatawu in defensive mode close to our box & miscued his clearance putting the Saints attacker in the clear. But the lino put his flag up for offside. Would need to see that again if that could’ve turned into a decent opp for them.

- When they seemed to waltz through at will at the beginning of the 2nd half. We seemed to still be in the changing room for about 10 mins after that.

But otherwise, more of the same please.
