Is it me or is he not that good? Short passing all game. Few Hollywood passes. Even fewer goals. Doesn't tackle or head much. Maybe you have to be a pro to recognise his contribution as Sky made him MOM last night.

It's certainly not just you.
There's a reason spurtz were happy to let him go, although I'm pleasantly surprised he stayed fit all season. Same with Ricardo on that front...

He's the glue that holds us together. He gets everything moving. He also allows the two number eights to get forward. Extremely important player for us.

It helps Ricardo playing a different position. He's not up and down the line and wearing himself out.
 
According to SSN, we will have to sell a major player off before the end of June to balance the books. So what options do we have.

Soumare? Kristiansen has done very well at Bologna and they’re probably going to be in the CL next season.
 
Souttar will be on his way along with the loanees (Kristensen, Soumare). Ideally move Daka on. Nacho off the wage bill. Might not be so bad. Problem is that leaves us short squad wise. At least the injuries have not been as bad this season…maybe they just didn’t like playing for Rodgers?
 
He's the kind of player where you only notice what he does when he's not in the team.
Imagine Hamza playing that role.

Leaving aside that wages for this season will already have been paid come the time contracts end so won't be of much use in reducing this year's losses, in terms of sales for the ones we are happy to get rid of there is the age old issue of who would want to buy them (and for a price where we make a profit so that's probably in excess of £10m for all those mentioned)? European clubs seem unlikely to stump up that sort of money for these sorts of players let alone matching their salaries so best bet might be further loans again (where no doubt we are having to pay some of their wages). I don't see Championship clubs paying that sort of money for them either and PL clubs have probably seen enough of most of them (Kristiansen the probably exception) to not want to risk it.

Problem was I got the impression he trained them too hard hence all the injuries

I’m assuming that’s a joke right? He controls the tempo? You mean he put his foot on the ball occasionally and just stands there.
Just watch this too. Jackson starts 3yds behind him and literally doesn’t even have to get out of second gear. @30 secs.
