Got to be finished surely??

What the fuck was he thinking, and who's held that photo waiting for the prime moment (2 weeks before Cheltenham) to out him??

It looks to me as though Elliott is mimicking those big game hunters photo's that appear in the papers every now and then. He's fucked, totally.

A woman scorned is behind it. Left the ex for a new model and the photo suddenly emerged

Envoi Allen will miss Cheltenham unless Cheveley Park Stud move the hoss to another trainer. Fatty Elliott has 106 hosses entered for Cheltenham

IMO a load of PC hoo-hah about very little. Silly thing to do and I don't like the two fingered salute pic but the horse was a horse not a human and DEAD not dying. Dead horses are part of his life . The horses are kept in a comparative life of luxury during their racing career and are put out to pasture during their retirement and then they die. This one died early but he didn't kill it.
Contrast this with the attitude of the BHA when Sir Mark Prescott a long term lover of blood sports attended a, by that time illegal, hare coursing meet: "This is not in connection with racing and wouldn't impact on Sir Mark's status as a licensed trainer," said the BHA's Paul Struthers.

Absolutely revolting.
I would happily see horse racing totally banned in the UK after seeing both these images.
It makes me sick to my stomach.

Does make you think it’s a sport with a lot of arseholes working in it.

Won’t do them any favours when the death toll at Aintree comes up.

Sport of Kings eh

Don't talk soft Bill, You know fuck all, if you think that Aintree is the racehorses graveyard then I suggest that you do some research. Over the last week there have been lots of hosses killed, double figures easy. Half of which were on the flat, 1 killed at Newcastle tonight. If this drying ground carries on the Cheltenham will be carnage.

Today's Guardian - Zoe Williams:
League Against Cruel Sports reports 40 horses died during Aintree 3 day meet between 2000 and 2013.
Animal Aid reports 39 horses died at Cheltenham Festival between 2000 and 2013.
Thats 79 horses dead at those 2 meetings over 13 years.
Thats why the photo of Elliott and the video of that jockey are so shocking when the 2 horses have died of heart attacks whilst being ridden on the gallops.
Its so disrespectful.
Suspect the sport is on its last legs.
What with this and that Arab sheik owning most of it just leaves a bad smell about it all.

Elliott is finished and he deserves to be.
Jim Bolger the great Irish trainer was quoted some time ago in regard to the superior form of certain Irish horses and the amount of improvement found by them as saying, we need to introduce the testing of hair on horses to ascertain properly which drugs have been administered , he went on to say that plenty of dodgy stuff was going on in the Irish racing scene by certain trainers, no names mentioned but the implication that Elliott was one of those who should be looked at.
Racing should not be banned and will not. The horses are in 99% of cases pampered and loved especially by the stable staff and if you have ever been in a yard when a horse has been killed whether on the track, gallops, or a tragic accident it is a sombre place to be .
It needs strong leadership and not turning a blind eye to the likes of this incident and also the Sheikh Mohammad allegations, the problem is when the said Sheikh is a friend of the Queen and sends her presents of racehorses and is also one of the biggest employers in the industry and also owns the racing post which conveniently turns a blind eye to his shenanigans nothing gets done.
Once again money and power overule basic human decency.

There would be a lot more deaths if they stopped racing as they would have no need for the horses anymore
Also the sport would go “underground” and then you would see real cruelty.
