Going against the grain here.....

12 months ago LCFC was in the early stages of terminal decline , brought about by a Board and a DoF who either knew not what advice to give or more likely were rabbits in the headlights. Our "virgin" Chairman starved of the reality went into his shell. Meanwhile , throughout July 2022 to Feb 2023 a delusional narcissist sadistically chased destruction.
Ought and should have been banished into exile far far away.....we were doomed . Players who felt they could escape focussed upon their optimum exit strategy , the rest lost motivation and interest.

Enzo appointed inheriting a "shitshow". Players leave and some arrive as signings others on loan , insists(!!!!!!!!!!) on a new style of play with the caveat "Buy in or leave"..... the squad settle and season begins. Results are positive and everthing appears calm but a few dodgy performances and the fanbase crave results believing Rome was built in a day ,allied with daring do. Blue tinted glasses applied and it ain´t what it used to be , all shit , too slow ....blah blah blah.

Did you think it would just progress 13/14 , 26/28 , 39/42 and Nirvana. Enzo turned the club around , galvanised the board , got Top reconnected with Khun Vichai´s vision and changed (partially) the squad. He retains my support and confidence going forward.
(Jock took us up winning 1-0 most of the time and it wasn´t that pretty ...i went to 80% of the games ...but it was fun to win because you play to win (1-0 Ally Brown).....always!

The club may have its mojo back but it is still impoverished and failure to gain promotion will only exacerbate the financial problems. Promotion it must be with the caveat that staying there is a must. The dice are loaded and not in our favour but survive we must and will! Onward and Upward LCFC!

One way of putting a point across fair enough, relevant to some points though Jock built a solid defence and a midfield alas at this moment in time you could not say that today, that's why we need more goals, we are too weak to sit back and stabilise.
My other point is our strikers we are relying on one ageing striker and one hit and miss striker our midfield play is slow as a snail plus we have lost our playmaker and the player who came in is IMHO to inconsistent
We were bright in our opening matches because of weak opposition now we are up against teams in the upper group who are sterner opposition (apart from Wednesday night who are fighting survival)
We should be better and could be with a little more aggression we are to sterile

Mostly concur . We could not get shot of Daka and Nacho in the close season (combined cost 42m) so had to carry wages of 50-100k pcm into the season hence no room for a stike force refresh. Cannon signed but injured, must get game time prior to Africa Cup. Loss of Doyle has been an issue as he can move the ball forward. McAteer injury v. untimely. Simply not had the time nor money to effect a complete rebuild. JJ is not back to where he was and a couple of promising academy players have been held back by serious injuries. It is a hard job balancing all the variables and still being top of the league. I believe if anyone could have inherited the filth and still get us promoted then EM is the man for the job!

We covered up our shite players and manager for 3 years by having players who could turn a game with a bit of quality. In reality we were crap and carrying useless cunts. Maddison, Vardy, Barnes, Tielemans, Ricardo and Justin could score out of nothing, this hid the truth.
