Germany to limit AstraZeneca jab to under-65s

I've thought for a while they've been vaccinating the wrong groups if they want to reopen the economy.
If you want to do that you need to vaccinate the people that have the most contact with other people, not the people who have the least.
People who can isolate don't need vaccinating, it's people who can't self isolate that need it.
I get your point on that @MrTeabreak but doing that it means the government would effectively sign off the deaths of many pensioners which no government would do.

That and they are all like sheep and have been following each other’s decisions since this dreadful virus first hit. 🦠

Yeah but, if you isolate them and vaccinate people who come into contact with them, you solve the problem.
Care workers deal with more people than an individual care home patient, so vaccinate the workers and don't allow visitors unless they've been jabbed. Those jabs then do a lot more good because those people interact with more people than an 85 year old would ever do.
As well as medical staff, the police etc vaccinate retail staff, bin men, postmen, bus drivers, school teachers etc etc, that investment is then returned many times over whilst the rest of us stay at home.

That would make perfect sense MrT.

If the vaccine actually stopped you contracting covid-19 and stopped you becoming infectious that is. It does neither.

To be fair, neither does HCQ+.

To be fair, neither does HCQ+.
When used as a therapy it is given when symptoms first appear, ie when covid has already been contracted.

There are reports that regular low dosage HCQ with zinc boosts the immune system and reduces the likelihood of infection. Not something that I have investigated in detail though were it available I would probably add it to my current vitamin regime.

I am also looking into Quercetin as an alternative to HCQ.

Had my jab this afternoon. AstraZeneca.
Not entirely convinced it will work (mutations and all that), but worth a try.
