It is a huge risk to appoint someone with the tiniest of managerial experience ( of which he failed) also with no experience of the league we are in or working with players who have no where near the talent within them as what he is used to seeing.

I turned it on at 0-0 and watched us go 3-0 down in about 10 mins and switched it off. I get that it’s a preseason game but it didn’t look good at all. I also get we’re not going to face Liverpool next season, but if this is any indication, I think the manager has under estimated this league in the same way Levein and Sousa did. Hope I’m proved wrong.

Well, yeah and no. We gave the ball away cheaply under pressure when trying to play out (and got away with them mostly) but is it really unreasonable to expect former PL footballers (and Internationals at that) to be able to pass the ball at least somewhere close to someone wearing the same coloured shirt under little pressure (which we didn't get away with)?

However l do realize that what standards Liverpool played at even at half pace, we should not meet teams anywhere near thrir standard but we have to move swiftly to avoid the trappings of last Season, as it will be utter failure not to be in with a shout of Promotion
He level of expectation has been diminshed albeit against a top 4 premier side , bbut some of the play was.littered with the same faults as last season, ourpassing lets us down as well as some very slow act and thought, Merasco has a lot of deep thinking to do and not much time.left to do it, l think 10 games into the Season and if we havent 20 points by then the shit will hit the fan.

We was like a team of midgets nowt in midfield to be fair to the defence absolutely no protection whatsoever. Hence every time playing out from the back we lost the ball.
