I just filled the car up, 2.4 euros a litre!

I'm amazed that the French aren't out on the streets blockading petrol deliveries etc. I remember when it went through the 1 euro a litre barrier not that long ago and there was uproar. Have the French lost their bite?

I see prices are even worse (they always are) in the UK. How do people continue using their cars so frivolously, let alone for work, at such prices?

And the oil companies keep making more and more profit.

A couple of years ago it briefly flirted with us at a Pound and a penny per litre. That didn’t last for very long though.
 
Fuel Duty & VAT make up 44-55% of the pump price

It comforts me (every time I spend £80 filling up) that another £40 is going to fund 'vital (shit) public services', migrants, PIP shirkers & Mohammed & Fatima + their six inbred spawn
 
So how do normal people afford to NOT use public transport in the UK? School runs !!!
