Focus on Rodney Fern.

When that was written I imagine nobody alive would dream of thinking Jagger would release a new record in 2023 with his band.

Saw his debut at home to Leeds in 68. A real maverick of a player. Could be brilliant or could be shite. Played in that infamous 4-3 vs Man City in 68 and also scored the winner at Field Mill in the 6th round in 69.
Always found it strange that he was in the Luton team that we thumped 4-0 in the cup in 74.
As said he loved to be on the floor a lot. With the pitches we had in those days it must have taken him ages to get the mud off himself after each game

Saw him play for Chesterfield in the 1976 curtain opener at Saltergate against Northampton. 0-0 draw. Remember how old he looked compared to the rest of the players on the pitch, as though one of their Dad's had been drafted in to play. Unfortunately, on that day he was the latter of LG Fox's description's.
