Favourite Place to Live in the UK

I think everyone would agree with that. It is a beautiful road aesthetically and very, very easy to navigate. Also each exit from the ring road, provides a wonderful vista.

I’m on holiday 5 miles south of john o groats.

its pretty amazing, but it’s a bastard if you need to nip to the shops.

If I had to go back to the UK I'd go back to Bournemouth.

Skegvegas, good chips, good doughnuts, Marstons Pedigree, Leicester Mercury, very ugly but very grateful slappers - bliss

Croyde, North Devon. Nice and quiet most of the time and two Leicester owned pubs in the area. Though sadly a N*******m one as well.

You wouldn't like it down here SF.

Lots of rebellious old folk not wearing masks and going to the beach.

Absolute carnage, several people a week dying having tested positive for covid 19. Some may even have had symptoms!

Lived in the IOW for a long while also lived in Wimborne for a short while before getting married as Dad lived there

If I come back to the UK and although I still have relatives in Melton, Weymouth would be the place for me. We lived there when my dad was in the Navy when I was knee high to a grass hopper.

When did you live there, sixth? I first started visiting when Ruda was a single field with about a dozen vans. 😮

Kings Arms in Georgham was pub of choice.

BLUE ARMY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've not lived there (yet), but visit all through the year.

What year was that first Ruda visit? The place keeps getting bigger.

The Kings Arms is owned by a Leicester lad. The brother of the lady who runs The Manor. Got a great conservatory in there as you will know. I think it does the best food too; but do like a sunny afternoon in the Thatch. So to speak...
