Coady?
“He has trained with us for the last days. He started to be better. Tomorrow he can be in the squad. Yes, but Conor is so important but even if he is not 100 per cent, it’s good to have him with us.”

Other injuries?
“No. Dennis is still out. Tom Cannon is out with some problems. I don’t know how long (Cannon is out for).”

Daka?
“He was one of the players who could leave but it doesn’t happen. Now he’s here and he’s one of the players. If we need him, we will use him. He’s a quick player, he can attack in behind. He can link in the way we want to play. He’s a complete player.”

Reintegrating Daka?
“First of all he’s a good guy. He’s always laughing and positive even if he didn’t play this year. Now the transfer window is closed, there’s no problems.”

International break?
“We had just 10 or 11 players so it was not easy to work on something, but we used the time to improve them and with some of them to try to improve some of the things we still need to improve like in the last third, the control of the tempo. I used it to review the seven games. Sometimes it’s the quality of the pass. If you see Callum pass, it’s a quick pass. The tempo of the game is because of the quality of the pass. We have improved in the transition. We concede less. These are normal things.”

Southampton?
“They are a good team. It’s so clear. They are looking for some things. It’s not still clear because they adjust a few months ago. They are looking for something. In time, they are going to improve and they are going to be up there at the end of the season fighting for promotion.”

Start?
“A few months ago these guys were relegated, but now they have won six out of seven. These players have started in the right way, very positive. They are doing an amazing job. But the reality is we lost the last game. We are going to lose games. It’s normal. I’m happy. We always see the reality when we lose. When we win, people get confused that it’s easy to win. It’s not easy.”

Next two matches?
“They are not so much different in terms of Coventry or Cardiff or Huddersfield. They use different weapons to hurt us, but for me they will be similar games.”

Doyle?
“I told him he has to score with us not with his international team! He’s a good guy, which makes it easier to work. He proved himself in the Championship last year. To make the big step, he needs to improve. But for 19 years old, he has reached many important things. He has many years in front of him. It’s good for young players to make the right path. For him and for me, it’s the perfect way. We’ll see next year (if he can play in the Premier League).”
