A fairly predictable end to the season. Good to see Derby make a mess of it on the last day.

If there is any interest, I might be persuaded to run this for another year.

Up the City!

From my (lowly) position, that's a complete no-brainer. Thanks so much for providing the only interest and enjoyment that I've derived from football this season.
We should all make our best endeavours to get the PL glory-hunters to return into the fold for the unfathomable corners of Div3, plus as many newcomers as possible.
If Sarge is going to make the effort to run this for us again, the least we can do is get a much bigger cohort playing.
(Even if the only reason he's volunteering is that he somehow, mysteriously, coincidentally won it... ;) )

Actually, gotta admire a handsome victory! Well done, Sir! Is that the biggest winning margin to date?

First and foremost congratulations to the Sarge on a brilliant campaign.👏👏👏
It's fair to say his consistency broke me after leading for a good half of the season.

I thoroughly enjoyed it all and I just want to say how much I appreciate the effort put in by the Sarge in organising it yet again.👍
Going forward I would love you to carry it on, but I would also say to everyone else who entered that you should really consider whether you are committed to it.
It's disappointing that people quit because they start falling down the ladder and start losing interest. Not sure how many started at the beginning but it feels like nearly a quarter or a third dropped out.
The Sarge puts in more time and effort than all of us in doing this and it only takes us 2 minutes a week to post our predictions.
So I urge people that want to start to at least see it through or don't bother at all.
I think that's only fair on the Sarge.

Thanks for your efforts this season Sarge, much appreciated and congrats on winning.
As usual I put every Leicester City game down for a win, hence my lowly position & will continue to do so next season, which gives everybody else some hope!

Thanks as always to everyone who took part.

Tudor's comment regarding Leicester predictions is true for a lot of us. I put us down to win every game at home apart from Ipswich. Of course we bloody won that one.

I gave juniorwilko a challenge. I asked him to produce the league table based on my predictions. Looks like we are going up!

I'll stick everyone's on here later.

Many congratulations Sarge on two counts. Your impressive win was never in doubt over the last few weeks. Top predicting Sir, especially as you had us down to win far too often! Secondly, my continued respect for you going to all the trouble of running the compo so efficiently year in year out.

I heartily endorse the comments above. Every season I encourage punters to take part and I hope you'll have the stamina to run it again. How many seasons is it now?

A tad disappointing that a few more from here didn't join in my end of season compo which was intended as a similar diversion from all the understandable doom and gloom about this place.

See you all next season. Enjoy the summer y'all.

Many thanks Sarge for running the competition again. A mild distraction from a very dismal season.

I see I predicted 199 results and St Mathews 241. Does that mean I forgot/missed 42 games? I may have had more success if I'd remembered to post each week! (Or maybe not!)

Top work Sarge and see you all in August!! :D

I've just checked and you missed 19 predictions. 11 of these were in week 26, although you did remember the last fixture and posted it with Bugger forgot!!

Here's the table based on your predictions.

I gave him my spreadsheet and he wrote some code to extract the tables. Helps if you have a Masters in Data Analytics. Took him about 15 minutes. I would still be trying to figure it out.
