Does anyone want to apologise

Yes, I will. A superb team effort. Another ghost exorcised.

Thanks Sardinia.

Micky, it can’t get much better for us than it is at the minute. We’re in Europe for only the fifth time in our history. We’re just about known now as a top ten team in the Premier League, we.’re certainly established and not at all considered for relegation.

Arsenal has been an unhappy hunting ground for longer than I’ve been on the planet however the last 4 or 5 times we’ve played there we’ve given them a good game and have deserved more. The players know this is one monkey we’ve needed to get off all our backs.

Yes Rodgers is a bit too negative for my liking at times however we’re massively depleted at the minute. We should have goals from all over the midfield, Maddison, Barnes, maybe Under now, also Castagne and Pereira when back will be more than useful full backs.

We’re not far off being the real deal yet all many write is negative. Enjoy the moment, anything is possible for the foreseeable future.

Daggers, don't be a divvy. Being worried or negative has always been the prerogative of any fan of any team sport, its a natural reaction. Maybe we should open a new 'Confession Forum'.
You’re right there. Pessimism is a default setting before any City game for me. Pessimists are never disappointed and a good result is a bonus!

Fully agreed. The end of last season was a bit of a damp squid but we seem to have strengthened the squad and started the season very well despite obvious injury problems (which I hope are not indicative of a major problem elsewhere).

Jury is still out, stuttering performances against the Villa and the Happy Hammers , still
shows we have problems

Understandable as we had previously had two disappointing results AND we were traveling to a place famous for giving us nowt.

I used to take a damp squid with me the times I went to see us lose at Highbury. The plan was to slap John Redford in the face with it. But as he’d retired by then, I ended up giving it to Ian Ure’s wife for her supper. Then I had to go back to the ground to get the fish back ((c) D Norvelle).

I saw Radford warming up with 10 minutes to go last night, I was worried

For all the negativity before the game last night?
Was it wrong to be jacked off that an established top ten side set up with 5 at the back & no striker for a game against a side who are no better than ourselves?
Let’s be honest, if we were due to play them again next week do you think Rodgers is such a genius that he would get the same result?
We were lucky with the chalked off goal & lacazette missed an absolute sitter.

Unhappy hunting ground as long I can remember, living in N7 and no more 5 min walk from the Emirates, great one over the local delusory gooners 😎

Said to a young bloke at work 'You weren't born last time this happened'. 'Neither was my dad' he replied - truthfully.

I loved the win and the effect it had on everything Arsenal. What worries me is that everything only came alive when Vardy came on. He can’t go on forever and there still seems to be no one or no plan to replace him 🤔

Still too reliant on vardy tho!
The thing is our whole team is geared around Vardy, which is understandable given how great a player he is. I think once he retires we will have to get used to him not being around and form a different pattern of play which isn't geared around one person. Which when you watched the Ukranian game we actually had someone holding the ball up and allowing the wingers and attack midfield to join. That wouldn't happen if Vardy was there.

I’m sure there is a plan, we haven’t got this far and recruited as well as we have recently without a plan. Vardy’s replacement is a massive deal for us, we all know this. Brendan knows this and so does Top.

Yes he would be a very very big loss because all our game revolves around him but we will cope. We will just change our strategy.
