I've just read a German report on him and Bayer Leverkusen from 19/4.
They have a new manager (Hannes Wolf), he hasn't played him yet, and, in fact, has put him in the stands for the last few games. When asked, Wolf had nothing bad to say about him ("good player, good personality") but said he has to make tough decision because they have many good players and it doesn't make sense to swap players around too much at the moment.
His last game was on 21/3.

He got a half and a few minutes more under his belt, and today Leverkusen announced they'll get a new manager (Gerardo Seoane, Young Boys Bern, completely unknown to me) for the new season.
They appointed him with the club's playing philosophy (play attractive, attacking football) in mind, so we'll see how that goes. He'll get his chances I suppose.
