D Day has arrived

So here we go, its shit or bust today and hope the football Gods do the rest!
As the song goes " how did we get there I dont know"
We can point to many different factors and have different opinions but one thing is for sure we have completely fucked up what our late Chairman gave us.
When we appointed Rodgers most people (me included) and most definitely Wheelan Rudkin and Top must have been suprised we could attract a former Liverpool and current Celtic manager to "little ol Leicester City"
He blinded us all with his charm,how he courted and dealt with the media and his knowledge of how to play " Pep style football " we all bought into it and the style of play and results followed, we were warned from fans at other clubs but dismissed it.
We took our eye off the bigger picture,there was no future plans ( just in case it went wrong) and we kept increasing contracts for fear of losing our "Top Top players" it was all going so good but as we were warned wait till the going gets tough and so they were right, Rodgers by his own admission didnt do plan B's he just kept doing his thing.
The Maddison Tweet to Rob Tanner along the lines of " we need to keep doing what we are doing and it will be alright " sumed up how much we were in denial.
Vichai would never have allowed us to be in this position I think he would have got to the 1st international break of this season and pulled the plug!
We could all see this coming,but we are where we are,if we go down we will have to embrace it and deal with it be creative and bold with our recruitment there are still some Gems out there,if we stay up we have to be ruthless and ambitious and recruit hungry players who want to play for us instead of these overpaid lot we have at the moment.
When Rudkin and Wheelan do there Season review( 🤣 now there's another farce) they need to look at themselves because decisions from the board dowwards have caused this

Just had some of Kaypees's pills so I am expecting us to win and Everton to drop points.

That's the spirit fnq! I think you've been had though mate - there's a lot of charlatans on t'internet passing off fake tabs as the real Kaypee deal. Caveat emptor young man.
 
Everything crossed for today. But if we do go down you have to ask who in the club is capable of recruiting the gems who are out there. The current lot are utterly incompetent so is Top ruthless enough to make the necessary changes? I fear not.
 
We will huff and puff with an all too late bit of effort, which will completely fail to cover up the numerous stinking performances produced this season.
Imo it will be just a matter of time before the grim news filters back from Goodison.
We will pay for not showing practically any intent to keep it in our hands at Newcastle.
Would love to be hopelessly wrong but I have no faith in our uncommitted bunch, nor the Premier League officials making any correct VAR call which will endanger the more model Premier League club.......Everton.

It would be somehow cruelly fitting of this seasons debacle on and off the pitch that we do the needful here but a highly dubious call on Merseyside renders it irrelevant. Survival or not people in key off field positions have failed in their responsibilities in the most spectacular manor- they need to be gone.
Hoping for a deafening "Brendan Rodgers what a wanker" to be ringing out at some stage. He got away without a fitting send off.
Will be in my usual spot with the usual faces. Come on you Blue Boys.
 
Having suggested the other day that Top has a word with our recent goalie now basking in France,
I was dismayed to say the least, that he has entrusted a review to the two people least likely to fall on their swords.
He can, of course, reject their inevitable self serving findings, but I have little confidence in any brave decision
coming from him which addresses our plight.
