Not sure you'd get 50,000 for the JPT, would certainly have been no more than 49,999.

From a very good source, the club is solvent, but the landlord wants to sell the ground for a housing development, same old song all around the country…

Terrible mate lot of housing all round there so be easy to get it done.

Seems to be a common problem in the area Brandon Stadium is undergoing the same process but is further along.

Next move is just to allow the place to crumble through vandalism put in a plan for all housing get it refused for lack of any sporting use then
hire a super smart barrister like Peter 'that's right isn't it?' Goatley KC who will then try to tie the council in knots through his expert knowledge.

It is a truly dismal process
