Should have been two up before we went one up
Faes was good
'Keeper was prbably our best player
Good to see Wilf back
Big investment needed to stay up in the premiership next season
Hamza was decent
Bristol City bucked the job up
We won withiut playing too well

What fucking game were you watching?
Hamza was shite
Faes got caught out of position loads of times.
Without playing too wel!!.
For the last hour we were gash.

Like you say big investment needed for when we go up. But then again we just need to finish above three others and even now I think our team is capable of that because there are some poor teams in the premier League.

I'm really not sure how we got away with that pen.
There were moans about the ref, but thank fuck he got the biggest and most crucial decision absolutely wrong.
I just hope that it was a massive piece of luck for us that will help to change the downward spiral that was gathering momentum.

Yes hamza was stupid to put his hand on the lads shoulder which I’m positive the ref saw, but luckily the big Sunderland lad threw himself forward with legs & arms doing a fine starfish impersonation.
His ridiculous over dramatics helped us out I feel.
Everyone’s got used to fouls/ pens being given for “ touches” & it being made out that it’s the right decision. It was a pathetic dive & I’d say it if it was one of ours aswell.
Glad the ref didn’t fall for it.

We've been on the wrong end of some crap decisions over the past few weeks so perhaps we were due the benefit of doubt going our way this time.

Sunderland v Citeh
Was the one you were watching any good as clearly you were watching something else

This thread made me think that one of the things that makes modern football shit is that we have all had our expectations recalibrated. Nobody would dispute that we are one of the top four teams in the Championship and even today we are probably just about competitive with the bottom 5 in the premier league. 30 or 40 years ago we would have compared ourselves to teams we play and been relatively happy that we are better than most (of course we would still have wanted to win the league), but now we all watch Man City and Real Madrid every week and conclude that we are rubbish. I know 2016 and the Rodgers debacle play a part but isn’t it like bored housewife’s used to want to keep up with the ‘Jones’s’ they now want to keep up with the Kardashian’s.?

It's all to do with the size of the tits on show. To be fair we have several big ones.

Well I certainly don't. Hate it when people get all excited about seeing teams on the box that they will never see in the flesh.
Same with the World Cup, when everyone seems to become an expert and loves soccer for a few weeks.

As Soho said in another thread, what was important was getting 3 points. From now on it’s nothing to do with how we play but about results. The pressure is getting to all teams. Southampton have lost the plot in the last few games and were fortunate to get a 96th min winner on Saturday. Personally I thought Leeds were gash against us. WE let them back into the game not the other way round. Drew against a 10 man bottom of the table side on Saturday and could only beat Stoke 1-0 last night. Stoke!! Ipswich have scored a lot of last min goals in the last two months. Can that continue? On a positive note we won when we played badly last night. As said we should have been out of sight after 15 mins. But we closed the game out. Wasn’t pretty and the pen IMO would have been given with VAR. But we should have been 2-0 at Leeds but Daka’s goal was disallowed. I said the other day that this week was pivotal. We need 3 points on Saturday and then 3 weeks off in the league to recalibrate and push into a busy April with hopefully Ricky back.

Don't be coming on here with your reasonable posts.
