I can remember the visit of Athletico Madrid (Cup winners cup?)and one of the things that stood out was the high standard of thier strip in comparison with ours , good solid team ,one player or so from being great !

An iconic photograph, but what has most intrigued me for years is how small 'Sugar' Banks appears to be. Always described as a '6-footer' in away programmes, he looks nothing like it against Sjoberg & King, or even Ritchie Norman.
Perspective obviously plays a part, as the 3 titches at the front (Riley, Gibson and Tewley) defy their height, though that can't explain the difference between those in close proximity. Odd.
