The eternal pessimist
Watched Brum v QPR on Friday and now watching Stoke v Hull. The quality of football is truly shocking really. I know Hull beat us but when Enzo’s plans come to full fruition there should be no excuses for not walking the league (🤞)

Last season I had several glimpses of the EFL show in preparation for our inevitable drop and the gulf in standard looked bigger than it’s ever been
As further reinforced by the promoted clubs’ results so far

Talking with a PSV Eindhoven fan yesterday. He said PSV is around 100 million turnover a season. Arsenal spent 125m on Declan Rice.

Arsenal's turnover in 2022 was c£342m (Leicester's c£215m) which just goes to show the difference in earning power between the PL & Eredivisie. Stoke City's for the same season was c£31m which just goes to show the difference between the PL & Championship as soon as Parachute payments have gone.
