How long before the conspiracy theorists are telling us we shouldn’t fill it out?
At least 80M records on NHS registersThe census will be be pointless, in many cases it will simply not be filled in which the government will be fine with.
Keep the numbers low, they do not want the real numbers to be known as it would show a rapid population growth that we have no possible way of sustaining. The supermarkets suggested a 'real' population in excess of 80 million (based on sales) and that was more than 10 years ago.
Where do you get your current figure of 88M+ from? It doesn't sound very plausible. Even if you allow the 80M figure (which itself was not plausible when it was - well, let's say floated), it's hard to see how you could add 8M over 10 years or so without it being pretty obvious.Don't ask me Eggs, ask the supermarkets, the energy companies, the water companies, they actually do have the figures.
The implications are huge, take public spending, funding the NHS to serve 68 million is a lot cheaper than funding for 88 million (I reckon the population is at least that), same with roads. public transport, police etc. All public services are struggling and this is one of the reasons why.
There was no Austerity, look at borrowing over the last 10 years, money was being spent in huge quantities. The Tories tried to con their supporters with talk of it, but in reality it never happened.I think the austerity measures didn't help.
The 88 million is my estimate from what I see. Substantial net immigration, freedom of movement and a substantial rise in birthrates, I do not think that 8 - 10 million over the last 10 years is unrealistic at all.Where do you get your current figure of 88M+ from?
