What beers have you had recently that you’d recommend if you can find them?

I had a bottle of Grainstore Gold recently, it was pure nectar.

Ghost Ship 0% when I had to drive; pretty good.
Got an equivalent St Peters 0.5% to try next time.

An irony of that video is that yours truly is pictured holding a plastic glass (Aaaarrrrgggghhhh!) which contains lager shite (double Aaaarrrrgggghhhh!). It was taken at a pre-season friendly in the Republic of Quorn (bring 'em back!). No decent beer was available so something else wet and and alcoholic was required. You can't really taste the hops at all. I'm a non-CAMRA man, I am.

Had Adnams Broadside recently. Very nice. If you fancy a stronger lager with a maltier taste the Peroni Doppio Malto is very good too.

Oooh, one of my favourite topics, being a homebrewer myself!

I'm a lager type person (mind you, proper lager, not the high volume bland industry type) and had an extremely lovely Schlenkerla Kräusen from Bamberg last night. I currently have to batches of my own in bottles, one of them a Helles, the other a Vienna type lager but brewed with British malt!

There are lots of beers from the UK I'd like to get my hands on again. Classics, such as a London Pride, or a Timothy Taylor's Landlord, or a White Shield IPA or, or, or....

Had a Zia Tiramisu Pastry Stout from London Beer Factory yesterday. A can from Tesco was £3.50 but it was 9.2%.
if you have a sweet tooth it’s nectar.

Nothing original, I've just had 4 pints of landlord, which is marvellous when on song.
I do like a bottle of proper job at home, & I'm currently quaffing Hobgoblin ruby.
I wouldn't ordinarily recommend that but it's £1.10 a bottle, which promotes it above a can of San Miguel.

Yesterday I had a few cans of High Wire Grapefruit Pale Ale.
Takeouts from a brew pub in Westfield.
It was in a snazzy can, 5.5% & 40,% off full price.

Very nice too
