What was his other game. As others have said I thought he was excellent today and didn’t put up with any diving nonsenseAnother excellent performance by Sam Allison again. His second great match at the KP this season. Who needs VAR?

I absolutely agree. It’s like night and day when we get a good ref. He was simply superbIt was at home to Watford. He’s simply the epitome of what a good ref should be. One of their players tried to get a dodgy free kick early doors. He totally ignored him. We made at least 4-5 really good tackles today which on another day a lesser ref would have bottled it. Just simply superb
It’s inevitable that having played at a decent standard, you can use that football intelligence to identify foul challenges, people’s intent, movement, anticipate play and look at trigger pass and people’s body movement and shape, and understanding phases of play. It just gives you that head start, I believe.
He refereed the Sheffield Utd v Luton game a couple of weeks ago .Apparently he was promoted to the Premier League panel of Refs a few weeks back, that’s his career fecked then…
Nice to see he kept up with playUsed to be a player at a modest level say RL..
They will ruin him, the bent VAR feckers will get straight into him…The way the man played the advantage was excellent, kept the game flowing. Just one yellow, bang on, hope the premier do not get in his head and ruin his good football thinking.
