Article 16

I've never been a fan of the EU. But I've never been a fan of the Tories either. Not sure which I trust less?

I thought that Brexit was a waste of time, effort and money; with no gain.

Still think that. But happy to be proven wrong. Still waiting.

Welcome to the new boss. Same as the old boss.

Why? Were there fanboys of the EU before? Don't think so.

Or just people that saw Brexit as pointless?

Anyway. Boris and UK PLC, have taken back control šŸ˜

Sadly, our lily livered government allows the EU to still have a huge say in our affairs, so saying that the the EU is nothing to do with us is, sadly, not remotely true.
So now we beg to join the Trans Pacific Trading bloc and if we are very very lucky get to obey all their rules in which ( unlike The EU ) we have had absolutely zero say in making .
If only there was a massive trading bloc nearer to home we could join .
Its farcical beyond words

Given the grip that the German Banks had on the Greeks balls, it is hardly a surprise that they blinked first... šŸ˜¦

Let's be honest you don't really have a clue about it do?

Dont be silly. We are negotiating to join a trading group, a bit like the common market, which was probably a good thing. We wont have to answer to the paciffic court of justice.

No Commission imposing/interpreting laws

No political union or common currency

No imposed standards, theyā€™re agreed

No mandatory freedom of movement

No quasi Parliament

So . Out of interest . Who decides on the standards / production quotas / allowed stockpiles / common labour regulations?
Peter Rabbit.

Dear old boris was all talk about no borders in ireland, then quite happy to put one in the Irish sea and sellout the the voters in NI when it suited him (ie he was backed into a corner because his own staff didn't understand the customs union).
But yeah, that evil EU.

Yes buddy, this is all about the Tories or the EU.
No matter how bad the leaders of the EU behave, you can comfort yourself, because for you, you can only look at this from two sides.

Weā€™ve wet nursed the Eu for so many years they just think we should give them all out vaccines.

The EU made a big mistake, and then reversed it's decision. At least they had the self awareness to rescind.
If only we could do the same with Brexit ....

As I have said before, the EU have set the agreement up to be in their favour, our incompetent government let them do so.

The shellfish industry is one of the first to find out just how this will work, in this case the EU negotiated agreements which allowed them to catch shellfish in our waters then banning export of the same product from the same waters by the UK industry.

All perfectly legal of course, our friends and colleagues in action.

Why do we do this to ourselves?
