Anyone like the NFL?

Baseball. Something else entirely, superb game, love it. Not seen a game in a very long time, in fact it was so long ago that it was at Candlestick Park.

History and folklaw, controversy and sportsmanship, all in huge measure.

It even has the equivalent of the offside rule to bamboozle the casual spectator. In fact the 'infield fly' rule makes offside look simple.

Browns are exactly where they should be. An absolutely horrible team that genuinely seems to have put things together and added a decent coach - their record flatters to deceive, but they'll be solid next season.

Ravens have just started to crash and burn. Employing a running back at the quarterback position was a cute, college style gimmick last season, but slightly.. unsustainable? The QB position involves this crazy thing called 'passing skills', shame Jackson never had them.

The Browns are fake. Their schedule is ridiculously easy, as I said before, it is like as if we played C*v or F*r*st each week. They will reach the playoffs but will be hammered as soon as they play a decent team. Agree about the Ravens but having a QB who can run is not doing the Cardinals any harm. Lump on the Chiefs.

Saw the Yankees on opening day in the Bronx a few years back. Never been so cold. Ice in the stadium and a wind that'd take your skin off.
Action a mile away and quite unsure of who was supposed to be doing what.
Never again.

Not fekkin likely

Sod off you two, nothing wrong with the browns. It’s Baltimore that are the MK Dons of NFL
BBB not quite. The Raiders have moved three times. They are the real Franchise FC. Weren't Baltimore a new franchise anyway, Baltimore having lost their NFL team after the Colts moved to Indianapolis. But the Browns are still fake, as the first playoff game they play will demonstrate.

Ouch. Baltimore "acquired" their team in a much despised move.. from Cleveland.

Does a move count if you go back where you came from? The Raiders went from Oakland/Los Angeles/Oakland.
Then it would be the Rams: Cleveland/Los Angeles/St.Louis/Los Angeles

I've been a Chiefs fan since 1993, via a US mate who lived in the UK at the time and grew to support City whilst he was here. The combination of Leicester/Chiefs makes us both seem like complete nouveau-plastics these days I suppose.

I went to a game at Arrowhead in 1993 and it was weird - fans gathering 4 hrs before kick off in the parking lot, great atmosphere, by the time the game started the smoke off all the barbecues was like fog in the floodlights. Inside the ground, the same stop/start you get on TV, but without ads or commentators to fill the long gaps. Strangest of all was the home fans made all the noise when the away team was attacking, they were deathly silent when Chiefs had the ball - rationale explained to me was to drown out the opposition quarterback's calls.

Went to a Colts game in Indianapolis years later and nowhere near as good - very packaged experience. Chiefs felt gritty like Filbert St or Eland Road, Colts like Emirates or London Stadium

Cubs fan myself. 2016 was quite the year.

BBB credit for an unlikely nifty, the answer to your original question is clearly in the affirmative.

Is the Dog Pound still going ? Bit more to cheer about these days.

9 and 3 Elmo my Dear, 9 and 3
Yes, I noticed that. Probably their best result of the season. But there is no way they are going anywhere if they have to play the Steelers, even the Patriots or God forbid the Chiefs in the playoffs. Like with LCFC, it is the hope that kills you.

Watch the Steelers. After the game, you'll go 'these guys were undefeated? uhh, that was.. OK. I guess'. The NFL is like the Premier League, everyone's between 'bad or alright or semi-good'
Just beware Bill!

Big day today.

Steelers now on a 3 game losing streak having been unbeaten. Ravens and Browns fighting for the play off spot. Browns have all main receivers out as of last night on a Covid protocol. You couldnt make it up.

Come on Bill look on the bright side. You are playing the Jets aka Sheff U ffs. And the Browns have done well recently running the ball. The Giants are a funny team and could cause the Ravens provlems. Keep the faith.

Squeelers are sitting Big Ben this Sunday and presumably other starters, so that means Rudolph gets the start :ROFLMAO: How did that go last year? Not missing this game.

I'd watch the line on this one, the spread vs Jets was Browns -10 then dropped to -6.5 after the covid nonsense. The book made a fortune.
