Anyone just want this season over.?

Brauny

The optimistic pessimist
Horrible, shit and bollocks. Nothing is right about it. The injuries are a joke, and an hangover from two consecutive last minute failed champions league attempts. Tielemans attitude, well just fuck off .
Starting to feel like we awakening from an amazing dream.
Oh how I/we have basked in these glorious years, but now in a state of anxiety about returning to normality. Feels like groundhog, do we move forward and leave behind the rollercoaster history, or back to square one.....the same old Leicester ?

I'd got myself in a different state of mind because how our injuries and Rodgers's fuck ups. In a way l just want to see effort and the young uns given a chance. I was ready to accept a defeat before the game because of this. Then this happens and fucks me head up again:(.

Whats more, l give the bloke who sits next to me £55 for his ticket, then realised I'd forgot to flog it or give it someone, add that to another parking ticket, todays been a bit shit to be honest !

Can they ? We have set a high bar, there is a long way to fall.
the season is over, injuries, bad tactics, bad team selection, bad defence of corners, lack of aggression. All theses could have been different and should be, its not right on the training round at all.

I am so facking angry about last night - it just isn’t going away.

Playing school playground football in the last few minutes doesn’t work in the Premier League. And made worse that it was Spurs ... I think we probably now hate them more than Arsenal fans do.

They better be a whole lot better than that against Brighton.

Don't count on that Brighton are a good quick footballing side, it's all becoming one gigantic fuck-up we have lost the plot
Absolutely spot on, Brighton are a well drilled side with no small amount of serious talent in their ranks.
A spurs side who didn’t get a touch of the ball in two games against a lacklustre chelsea just recently have just absolutely pee’d all over us.

We've had a little revival because of the cup, but its only a few weeks ago that half of us wanted Rodgers gone. What made us want him gone hasn't gone away and was there last night in full view.

Just a point, we lost this last night in midfield, at one point near the end Kane had the ball in the middle of our half with none of our players within 10 yards of him.

Rodgers bottles it every time we play a so called big club at home
Spurs were rubbish at the back we were so defensive we rarely tested them
Spurs apparently last night had the most shots on goal than any other
premier league team away from home this season
We made Arsenal , Chelsea and now Spurs look like world beaters
It is time for a change 😁

Have we been playing tortoises in training ? The amount of time it takes us to reach the halfway line would give a team of them more than enough time to get set to repel our “ attack” .

The pace of our football is painful . The contrast with Spurs efforts to get forward quickly was plain to see .
If we had been given the ball in the last seconds in our own half like spuds were , it would have been back with Schmeicel ion 3 passes .Spuds put it on our net with 2.

It’s not we haven’t got the talent to play with pace . We are merely playing to our current weakness - our defence- and inviting pressure. All the goals came from slow sideways / backwards play followed by giving the ball away.

Agree. The midfield was painfully porous last night - they just backed off, & when the Spurs attackers then saw the patchwork defence in front of them, they must’ve licked their lips.

Even the commentator mentioned that the likes of Skipp & Winks were finding themselves much further forward than normal…only because we allowed it time & time again.

Also amazed by how much space Doherty was allowed when he came on.

Our defence is as bad as any in the division, why does he make it our key point it trying to win this game and others for that matter.

We are a very good attacking side, we had more attacking minded players in the starting eleven. Its exactly how Pearson played. Rodgers and Pearson both play with fear, yet field attackers and play with a defensive strategy.

Brian Clough said that if you count the amount of attackers on in your side against the defensive ones and there's more attackers than defenders, then your an attacking side. Well we had a attacking side again out there, playing defensively.

Play to your own strengths and cover up your weaknesses !

There was never 5 minutes stoppage time last night as no long injuries or waiting for VAR decisions. If we had won 2-1 would we still be complaining?

From the manager to most of the players we are bottle merchants
Bottled against the Scousers in the cup , bottled it big time last night
The game on Sunday is a huge game let’s get on the front foot
Brassed off watching sideways passing , and ten men behind the ball
Season turning into a joke 😁

5 minute was generous to us, 5 or 6 subs used and to players. down for at least 3 or 4 minutes between them.

and no, we wouldn't but it would have been papering over the cracks.

Complaining? maybe not , but things like mentioning winning 1-0 away at West Ham under Taylor May have been mentioned in line with when was the last time we got away with winning a game where we’d just been that outplayed.

Yep league season over mediocrity secured. Forest and Randers the priority now if he’s got any sense.

That was fucking dross last night. Even if we held on it would have been unjust and Spawny. Spurs completely outclassed us from start to finish.

There’s time for a humiliating exit from the Euro Johnson’s Paint and a flirt with relegation yet.
