Anyone else think this?

Perhaps the temperature recording equipment is becoming more widespread and accurate?
Can we really compare the technology and availability today, to previous decades back to 1880?
How can there be 100% confidence about global temperatures, at thousands of locations, prior to 1880?
 
That was just the first liquid sealed in glass thermometer...
Irrelevant anyway, to the comparison of historic and current global temperatures.
There are no comparable instrument-based weather recordings in the past, to compare to.
