You started off well, and then went off on a straw man tangent to make a peripheral point.

a) Demarai Gray is going to SA to play footy for moolah. He's made no big political comments or gestures in the past so nobody bats an eyelid. It's what footballers do.
b) Henderson, after previously going all in on LGBTQ+ rights at the last WC in Qatar, is also going to SA to play footy for lots of moolah, where homosexuality is illegal, and so he looks like a total fucking hypocrite.

Can you see the difference between those two examples without giving us the history of western colonialism parts 1-47?

It's very reminiscent to me of the rebel cricket tours of South Africa in the 80s mixed with kerry packer's league.

I think FIFA might step in at some point if they feel good talent is being drained away. Right now it's more like a lucrative MLS, second-raters and has-beens imported for a large pay packet to get bums on seats.
