The defender got a toe on it. hard to tell because the ball continued in the same driection.

just watching MOTD and southampton got a penalty where the sheff utd defender touched the ball first then cleared out the player. can't see how it was too much different to our one....yes dunk may have brushed the ball but he took out vardy as well.

no he didn't. Vardy touched it, and the ball went in the same direction as the defenders foot motion. The ref could've easily missed it, but it was plain as day on the VAR replay. Cast iron pen all day long,

This is not true crutchless.
It’s all to do with clear & obvious error rubbish & nothing else.
As the commentator said, if it had initially been awarded as a penalty, it would have stayed as a penalty once checked by var.

At the very least it demonstrates why viewers should be provided with audio clarification from Stockley Park/the Ref as in Rugby Union and Test Cricket. They are shameless.
