Not gonna spoon feed you opinions guys, just gonna give you facts.

There’s messages on here saying Bnet brought all the anguish to the party on the last site.
Just the one guy is to blame. But looking at that VanMorrison thread.

1. Hackney gives out the first personal insult.
2. M4DDogg adds the second.
3. Bnet replies with ’wanker’.
4. Outfoxed gives us ’clown’
5. Outfoxed gives us ’clown’ again.
6. Bnet gets offensive and gives out a lot of cussing.
7. Outfoxed gets offensive.
8. Bnet gives us ’dumbo’.
9. Outfoxed is back with ’clown’.
10. Outfoxed does it again.
11. Bnet’s hits back with ’bore’.
12. Outfoxed ’you’re too fucking stupid’
13. Bnet. ’twat’
14. Outfoxed ’clown’
15. Outfoxed ’clown’
16. Outfoxed ’brainwashed fool’

The score so far.
The GUYS. 11 insulting messages. The One Guy. 5 insulting messages.

Just checked, my ‘first personal insult’ was ‘Is he thick as a 'post' or just easily fooled?’ Which I followed with a 😉 and a geek emoji.
It was in reply to Bnets post ‘It was took of Facebook and YouTube theres another post about who will back me up on that.’
So was I actually insulting Bnet or the other post? I’d argue it was a tongue in cheek go at ‘another post’.
Very mild when you consider where we are now.
Just shows how quickly things escalate.
I’ll try and refrain in future.
Sorry Dave but you’ve misread my post or I’ve not seen how it could be misread.

'Is he thick?' written in a thread that deteriorated quickly into similar insults can easily be misread.
 
Just a quick post as I’m really not bothered about all this but yes I did call him a clown.
He then called me a cunt and a wanker amongst other things, it shows whilst yes he probably doesn’t start the insults but he certainly escalates them and drags the discussion down to his level.

Do you think daz calling him an idiot warrants him labelling daz a peadophile and suggesting he should kill himself?
 
I can take bnets foul abuse and I am on the receiving end more than most . The Roof is always a more civilised and at times intellectually engaging place when he’s not here escalating everything into the realms of the personal . I am aware to my disappointment he sometimes gets to me to the extent I respond in kind .I know it’s his purpose and I will seek to stick to the matter in hand - countering the fake news he peddles.

I do think a line is crossed when he makes insinuations about family and posts thinly veiled threats . No one should be made to feel in anyway unsafe because they put different opinions on a message board . For that I think admin has some responsibility to act.

I disagree with you there, I don’t think admin should act, I just think maybe tone down the threats, accusations and stronger language a tad.

I couldn’t give a shit what he calls me, some people may let it get to them more though and that’s not fair.

Agreed Outfoxed . That’s what I meant. But if he is incapable of debate without disgusting abuse and threats which is clearly stopping other Roofers we would all like to hear from, from getting involved in the debate ?

As I've said a few times, it's pretty clear what you're getting into when you decide to become a regular on here.
Trying to agree what is going too far, with the verbal abuse, and what is not, doesn't really work for me. Just about everyone involved in the 'combat' with Bnet, to my way of thinking, has gone too far, and Bnet has a way of going OTT with others too.

My original involvement here came about because people wanted him gone. They blamed him for the old site's downfall and they said he was ruining this one. That was the 'why' they wanted him gone. They said he'd acheived all of this negative reaction because he was argumentative, abusive etc.

But when I looked at it I found that those accusing him were just as argumentative and abusive. I stand by that. It's still true today.
When I looked at a thread, I found that often it was 'they' who turned a thread into its abusive spiral. That still happens.
And when I looked at it, it turned out that often they were many, and he was often on his own. Again, it seems that way today too.

That is all that my original post here reflects.

For the record I've never wanted him gone and it's never overly bothered me what he's called or labelled me, I just think maybe sometimes he goes too far with people who might not be as unbothered (if that's a word) as I am.

So outfox is the oracle of what you can and cannot call someone without expecting a reaction. Silly me for thinking we are all individuals.

It’s your opinion, which is fine. The point I’m making is that actions cause a reaction and it seems to me that those with the actions cry when they don’t like the reaction and then gang up and gaslight. You can see it thread after thread.

I’m certainly not crying at any reactions, as I’ve pointed out I really couldn’t give a shit what anyone on here calls me.
