FA Cup Semi Final Match Thread

I won’t get into my usual Semi-Final Day routine until tomorrow morning. That involves:

An early morning cuppa (from my late Mum, RIP)
A flick through the latest Shoot (a feature on Ian Wilson) and Charles Buchan (Fern on this month’s cover)
Put on my lucky y-fronts using a belt (elastic went in 1982)
Check my match and railway tickets are still behind the clock on the mantelpiece
Check if Revie and Leek have tweeted their availability (both were giving it some on Tik-Tok last night)
Inject myself with morphine (two shots for the FA Semi-Final, entire box for a Final)
 
Yes. I'll have to get up at 5am to watch it before going to work - allowing enough time for extra time just in case. I hate getting up early and will probably not sleep well for fear of oversleeping

' whoever wins will be an overwhelming favourite in the final'

Based on what if it was Leicester Chelsea?

Leicester won the league clash and are currently ahead of them in the league.
Lazy commentary. At worst I would make Chelsea slight favourites.

Some could say Walker-peters was at fault for both goals (certainly the pen) so it’s an awful shame Barnes won’t be there to terrorise him on that side all game as he didn’t look like he could cope.

West Brom vs Southampton
Goal #1 Walker-peters fails to track his man
Goal #2 Walker-peters found completely out of position and gap exposed
Goal #3 again, Walker-peter’s right hand side channel is utilised and he’s got no chance.

For me there’s a very clear pattern/tactic that we can exploit.

Over those 2 games they scored an array of different goals from different sides/distances/players so it must be 4-4-2 to defend well against their options but also play the wide channels and pepper their full backs

It begins. Got up at six and lit a candle at the shrine to Frankie Wortho. Then picked up my rattle to give it a few warm up spins and put the heavy end of the fucker straight through my peloton bike screen. Now going to have to spend much of the FA Cup Semi morning running the Bex Bissell over the carpet.

Will Bex Bissell be fit for today? I heard there were a few mobility issues.
 
Done my bit for the omens last night - left some food on my birding patch for a under nourished 3 legged fox. He doesn't use his rear left at all - probably in a lot of pain. He's been hanging around the railway tracks for a few weeks now. Named him Tripod Fox.
Gave him a scotch egg, banana and few slices of bread - win today and he's getting some Pedigree Chum tonight!
