Insurance companies have always done it one way or another. They're in the business to make money and any way they can find to calculate risk and charge high premiums to those that are high risk is how they work.

But in this case they are, in effect, coercing people into taking an experimental vaccine.

This is contrary to the 'Principle of informed consent', established in international law after the Nuremberg trials of 1947.

MPs know and understand this, which is why they prefer not to be seen supporting the coercion.

Nobody is coercing anybody and overriding informed consent.
You are free to not take the vaccine and follow the consequences the govt sets for those folk.
If a chap down the street was bitten by a rat and caught bubonic plague but decided via informed consent he refuses medical treatment, should he be free to move about society?
The answer of course is no.
I still do not understand how there are so many freedom loving people that confuse freedom to decide themselves with freedom from the consequences of the decision.

If the vaccine works and you have had it then why does it matter whether others choose to or not?

There are no significant number of covid patients, hospitalisations are through the floor.

Given that most people who contract covid do so in hospitals, it is best to steer well clear of them.
