Brighton and Hove Albion Match Thread

Interesting game, this. Another chance for us to finally do the double – which we need to do a good few times if we want anything out of the season – but will we? They are struggling to deal with just three significant injuries, and we have a good record since they came up to the PL. I despise their delusional fans who were overjoyed by their recent cup performance, and like to to claim they "are just like Leicester but without a proven goal scorer at the moment"!
They could still plummet those last couple of places and go down, but I still maintain that – if things click for them for an hour or so – they could give someone a proper thrashing. We need to be right on it to make sure that someone isn't us – it's personal, this one...
(That said, if we win, there's no chance my plumber will ever get round to coming to fix a leaky radiator... 😞 )

Like it Filbo :)
Team selection will be interesting and I am sure we will all have our opinions.
Amartey and Choudhury need to be dropped.
Rest Vardy till the 13th v Sheff U perhaps?

It's not just about absences. Soyoncu, Vardy and Ricardo are still some way from their known best after missing matches.
And B&HA are the sort of team, well organised and non adventurous, we tend to struggle against.
Equally, the sort of team we have to beat to be taken seriously as top four contenders.

I’ll be on the 12.47 from London Bridge so should be in Brighton about 2. Looking forward to a few beers Satdi pre game. 🍺

The next two are horrible games against teams at the wrong time with our current confidence level and injuries. Horrible fixtures.

Brighton as said above could give someone a good beating and are never out of the game and Sheff Utd have nothing to fear anymore and keep it tight. Add to the fact that Brighton really need the points at the moment and 5 games either side of this fixture they might be a little less challenging and comfortable.

Not beating Burnley and with some ugly fixtures at the end means we need 6 points from these two and should expect them.

We'd be better off playing the likes of Utd, Chelsea etc now as we know Brendan will bottle the life out of team regardless so take we'd have nothing to lose with a patched up squad. At the end of the season we'll 100% need big points from these games. Much worse.

Brighton are having awful luck at the moment while playing good stuff . Reminds me of us in great escape season .
Not a good feeling about Saturday

Kasper
Ricardo
Fofana
Soyuncu (if he doesn’t play in his slippers)
Thomas
Ndidi
Albrighton
Tielemans
Perez
Castagne
Iheanacho

They're just keeping the yeast going at the moment! But I don't think they really do monthly brews as such. They knock out some 'Kiss' in February, in memory of Rodin's handiwork that was on display here a while back – plus the usual cynical Valentine's bollocks. And they offer the rather unpopular 'Georgian Dragon' in April, Bonfire Boy for the 5th, and a strong Christmas Ale. Perhaps they have a 'BHA Down' special planned for May... ;)

Sidnei Wilson Vieira David Tavares.

6'2" , so offers a different threat.

Saying that he might be shite in the air !!!
