... Sterling, Jesus, Laporte, Rodri, Silva, Mendy, Cancelo and Foden. Bit of a contrast between the quality of theirs and ours I'd suggest.

If I had the money Guardiola has had to spend and their relative luck with injuries (my notion they'd be less potent without KDB was woeful wishful thinking) I think I could guide them to winning the League. It's a scrap for 2nd, 3rd and 4th alas pop pickers.

Indeed.
Having that extra £80m per year that the CL brings for the last 10 years gives you the headroom to invest in a squad of that quality.
That's the gap we're trying to bridge, and it's a big one. If we were the first club in the FFP era to do this, it would be a massive achievement.

Is that the same "city" who commentator reckons would go 13pts clear of united and chelsea ? I make it 19pts to chelsea!

Yes Pep has an array of quality players at his disposal.
The only player I do not rate is Mendy.

To be fair they’ve only one injury at the moment. That helps a lot. We’ve got 5 squad regulars out tomorrow.

As long as Man City keep on beating the teams in and around the top 4 that’s great for us, only exception is when we play the buggers...

I'm not sure we are trying to bridge the gap financially as if we actually succeeded they would find a way to open it up again.
We are trying to match them by adopting a different way and it's going well up to now... :)
PS They have fewer injuries because they are able to rotate more and continue the standard...

Of course we're trying to bridge the gap financially!
It's a fucking huge gap, and not at all easy to reduce, but it's ludicrous to suggest we're not desperately trying to close it – at the very same time that they're all trying to grow it... o_O
