Serious question for the political people

You make it sound like Johnson is undeserving of the term.
There aren’t many in the current government who would escape that term .

In s way that makes it so much more galling. There are a lot of the new intake who have shown some moral fibre .

It’s an opportunity to elect a decent man or woman as leader . Someone needs to put the country first and start to repair our reputation . I hope they take it .

Tugenhal
Elwood

I’d be happy with either.

If it’s more of the same things won’t change .
Truss
Raab etc are no better than the current corrupt liar .

I’m sure some of our best leaders occasionally used an inappropriate word .
Don’t you think it would be refreshing to have politicians who have not got Old Etonian accents and values and don’t see getting into government purely as an earning opportunity ?
Time for change .
You really do have a hang up with people's education don't you. Imagine if some extremely able politician with a strong northern accent who had been educated at a bog standard school was judged for their accent

Front runner is Sunak...he's trying his best to avoid any convos about Johnson.

Rishi has only attracted support, because he can talk in normal sentences.
That's how low politics has sunk.

How has he avoided being connected with Allegra Stratton?

No I didn't and that is hardly the point
Oh I see - in the context of Raab & Truss using the word "scum" in relation to a leader of a country?

Well they're hardly going to are they, considering they're two of Johnson's brainwashed. One's a serial apologist & deflector, with crap knowledge of geography, & the other is championing existing trade deals as "significant wins".

Both as mediocre & hapless as their current leader.

I have no idea what you are rambling on about but I doubt either of them is likely to trigger an international incident due to using intemperate language

Just a Winchester College one instead.
Mogg would never accept him if it’s only Winchester - and that is the current leader of our Parliament who, for some unaccountable reason , many working people think gives a flying fuck about their daily struggles .

That's fine - I'll assume then we don't have a problem with the leader of the country being called "scum" because his behaviour & management dictate that the term is being correctly applied.

I can't say I've ever heard international representatives calling each other scum whilst negotiating on behalf of their countries, I'd like to think our parliamentarians (especially those with ambitions to be ministers of state) would be able to think of much more subtle insults maybe even using words with more than 4 letters

It baffles me why any working class person vote for this lot, as if they have any of their interests remotely at heart.

It’s a very strange one this .
A chance remark at a fringe meeting about political opponents is probably not going to be repeated about foreign dignitaries.

But carry on deflecting .

The blue scarf is cleary so knottted it’s cut off the blood supply to the brain .

(Allowable in football of course) 😉

Because the working-class don't trust the London-centric Labour Party and prefer the London-centric Tories instead.
Boris convinced them that the Tories don't ever go to London.
Oh and and a pro-EU Boris convinced everyone that he was anti-EU, but that anti-EU Corbyn was pro-EU.

It was the genius of Cummings to persuade people ( with the help of a compliant press) to vote in their millions against their best interests .

Identify a fake enemy and make people scared and cross about it .( e.g. The EU , migrants , refugees, The BBC ,footballers kneeling. ) Then people will vote against what they think they are frightened of and cross about .

Meanwhile the real enemy keeps shafting them and laughing at them .

Perfectly illustrated by The Tory leadership in the last few months .

I guess it depends on how much time you spend minutely-scouring the comments made by politicians around the world, to their peers.

If it had been subtle, my guess is that Johnson's reply would've been a load of Latin & possibly a quote from Churchill. More stuff to make people like you think that the use of words of more than 4 letters equates to intelligence, ambition & acceptability.

Rayner evidently decided that a cut-to-the-chase word that described him correctly, was sufficient.

how about "fuck business", when asked about how businesses will respond to brexit ?

And she was a bit pissed allegedly, but if that's what impresses you then good for you

Being pissed seems to be in the news at the moment. Must explain some of the decision-making of the last 18 months.

Pissed (allegedly) >> correctly calling someone 'scum' or

Pissed >> fuck the rules that we have literally told the whole nation to follow a few minutes ago

do you have the video of him calling another politician scum, love to hear it if its true.

Does it ever occur to you that in your headlong chase to slag off anything Tory/Johnson that sometimes you're being mugged by the media's agenda?
